Ingredients
1 medium butternut squash (or a squash of your taste)
1 medium onion
2 cups of garbanzo beans (preferably soaked and cooked)
Ginger
2 chili peppers (preferable serrano)
Garlic
1 can of whole coconut milk
2 small cans of tomato sauce (preferable pureed)
4 fresh red tomatoes
Green moong beans
4 bunches of cilantro
1/2 cup of peanuts
1/2 cup of fresh lemon juice
4 cups of Greek yogurt
1 cucumber
Basmati Rice
2 cups of semolina
2 cups of whole milk (or almond or oat milk for vegan preference)
2 crops of brown sugar
1 cup of ghee (clarified butter)
Spices
Turmeric
Coriander (ground)
Cumin (ground)
Salt
Black Mustard Seeds
Whole cumin seeds
Asofatida
Garam Masala
Saffron
Tools
1 large stainless steel pot to cook soup (daal)
1 medium sized stainless steel pot for curry
1 Large frying pan for dessert
1 small pot to boil milk
1 small frying pan to temper spices
Food processor to make chutney
1 mixing bowl for raita
Grater
Wooden Stirring spoons
Ladles
Knife for chopping
